Inside the training

At this stage, the emphasis is on learning movement and building coordination alongside age-appropriate strength.

01

Running mechanics

Practice posture, stride and foot placement. The focus is how an athlete moves while building the foundations of speed.

Posture · Rhythm · Foot placement

02

Jumping and landing

Learn single-leg and two-leg jumping, with attention to landing control. Technique gives young athletes a starting point for power work.

Take off · Land · Regain control

03

Coordination and agility

Use reaction, balance and direction-change challenges to work on body awareness. Athletes practice responding and moving in different directions.

React · Balance · Change direction

04

Strength foundations

Introduce age-appropriate strength work with an emphasis on movement quality. Progressions follow the athlete’s readiness and ability to perform the movement.

“Our daughter was nervous to start the program but after the first class she was hooked! She loves al the support she gets and the variety of activities. She looks forward to her training session every week and loves to call herself a “gym rat”. As parents we have seen an improvement in her strength and fitness but an even bigger improvement in her confidence.”
